Lochinvar Named Winner in ACHR News 2022 Dealer Design Award

Lochinvar, an industry leader in high-efficiency boilers and water heaters, was recognized for excellence in product design in the 2022 Dealer Design Awards Program. The awards are sponsored by ACHR News, a leading trade magazine in the heating, ventilating, air conditioning, and refrigeration industries. More than 130 products were entered into 13 categories and judged by an independent panel of contractors. Lochinvar’s CREST® Condensing Boiler with Hellcat™ Combustion Technology took home the bronze award in the HVAC Commercial Equipment category.

The unit features Feed Forward, Feed Back, Commissioned Trim and Learned Trim, which allow the user to set tailored parameters, so it can run at peak performance.”

Launched in 2021, CREST boilers with Hellcat Combustion Technology utilize an O2 sensor exclusively designed for a condensing, hydronic boiler, along with Lochinvar’s SMART TOUCH™ operating control to adapt to rapidly changing environmental conditions. The control platform records the optimal settings and logs that information so when the same environmental conditions arise, the combustion system automatically adjusts.
